Scientists find 95 blood-fat genetic links to heart disease
In the largest study of its kind, an international team of scientists has identified 95 genetic variants associated with fat, or lipid, levels in the blood that can contribute to heart disease. Together, the gene variants xplain about one-quarter of the inherited variations in cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood
